Strategic purchase of client specific machine parts
Dutch Company Doctors provides support and management consulting services to Stork Food & Dairy Systems (SFDS). In 2011 we received an additional assignment to develop a purchase vision for the future.
Later on Dutch Company Doctors was offered the chance to also practically implement the strategy by providing a senior ad interim buyer. Taco Dijk is a Dutch Company Doctor for many years and with his background of logistics, machine building and SAP he was the perfect candidate for this task. The following article is a reflection of his experiences.
